This is a Music Box Maker vintage custom musical box.  I installed a new (old stock) Thorens 28 note musical movement, wooden feet and a lid stop.  The original tune label has not been attached.  You can put this on the inside of the lid or on the bottom.  The box has some minor sign of use and a couple of very small chips (see photo).  There is a brass sliding on/off button on the front.  If your speakers are on you should be able to hear it playing. Please be advised that the music will sound better on good quality desktop speakers - Laptop computer speakers are generally poor reproducers of the mp3 file.  Measurements in inches.
