This is one of my vintage custom musical boxes. The box has an arrowhead marquetry design. I have performed some refinishing to the box, repaired/reinforced the bottom, installed a new Reuge musical movement with plexiglass cover and a new velvet liner. There is some evidence of use on the wooden box in the form of some old scratch marks. When the box is opened the music plays, close the box and it stops. If your speakers are on you should be able to hear it playing. Please be advised that the music will sound better on good quality desktop speakers - Laptop computer speakers are generally poor reproducers of the mp3 file. Measurements in inches.
