This is one of my original hand crafted wooden musical boxes.  It is made from red planchonella wood.  The inlay design (by Cynthia) is made from oak and cherry.  It has a doweled miter cut corners with my signature wooden hinges.  The legs and the plexiglass frame are made from oak wood.  The movement is attached to a bottom piece made from basswood to enhance the volume and sound of the music. The Reuge musical movement is new old stock manufactured in 1983.  There are some age spots on the note comb. The movement was made in Switzerland.  There is a brass sliding on/off switch at the front. If your speakers are on you should hear a recording of it playing.   Measurements in inches:  Height  = 3, Length = 7.5, Width =   4.375.
