This is a beautiful Italian inlaid musical box with marquetry design of ballroom dancing couple.  It come with the original brochure. It was made by Reuge for the Franklin mint. It features a 50 note musical movement made in Switzerland with 5 interchangeable cylinders. Each cylinder plays 2 tunes.  The tune list is mounted inside the box and there is a brass limited edition plaque on the bottom.  There is a glass cover that protects the movement. There is a small manufacturing blemish on the back side of the lid (see photo). Otherwise, the box is in pristine condition. The movement is in excellent working condition. There is a brass sliding on/off button on the front. If your speakers are on you should be able to hear it playing 4 of the songs (2 cylinders). Please be advised that the music will sound better on good quality desktop speakers - Laptop computer speakers are generally poor reproducers of the mp3 file.  Measurements in inches.
