This is one of my original hand crafted wooden musical boxes.  It is made from red planchonella wood.   The box has doweled miter cut corners and my signature wooden hinges.  The box has semi gloss finish from several coats of hand rubbed tung oil. This type of finish showcases the natural colors, grains, and knots in the woods.   The bottom piece made from basswood to enhance the volume and sound of the musical movement. The new Reuge 36 note musical movement was made in Switzerland.    There is a brass sliding on/off switch at the front. If your speakers are on you should hear a recording of it playing.   Measurements in inches:  Height  = 3.125, Length = 7.5, Width =   4.375.
